Non-Invasive, Natural Treatments

While surgery and medication are common treatments for back pain, both can have serious consequences. If you want to avoid invasive treatments, give our natural treatments a try. Depending on the source of your back pain, we’ll create a back pain chiropractic treatment plan just for you.

Your plan may include a combination of spinal manipulation, trigger point therapy, massage, and rehabilitative exercises. We believe that your body can heal itself if you move and treat it in the right way. To learn more about how proper spinal movement can improve your life, read our blog on movement.

General Pain - Understanding your pain...

When pain occurs, it shows you that a problem has surfaced somewhere in your body. People shrug pain off every day, thinking it will work its way out, but that may not be the case. You might need to seek professional help to correct and maintain the problem.

There are 2 types of pain you could be suffering from:

Acute Pain

This pain is new to the body and can be caused by a sprain, cut, broken bone, etc. The pain can be mild to severe and will usually dissipate with healing.

Chronic Pain

This pain is different and might be accompanied by insomnia, exhaustion, even weight change and can last up to six months or more. Many look to painkillers to alienate the symptoms, which seems like the right thing to do; after all, no one wants to live in the discomfort of pain. Quite often, painkillers will mask the cause of the problem by reducing the amount of pain. Doesn't it make more sense to find the actual cause of the pain and treat it directly?

At Cornerstone Chiropractic Center, we utilize chiropractic to treat many symptoms and conditions, so if you don't see your specific problem, that doesn't mean we can't treat it!
